Overall purpose of the position:
To manage TASK clinical trials data through review, computerization, cleaning, and auditing of clinical data in compliance with standard operating procedures, client guidelines and regulatory guidelines. The Clinical Data Manager (DM) is responsible for the coordination and delivery of Data Management contracted services on assigned projects. This includes meeting internal and external sponsor requirements according to time, quality, scope and budget parameters. The DM is the primary point of contact for Data Management on a project, for internal project team members, sponsors, and external data vendors. The DM presents project-related training and may provide technical guidance and direction to team members.
Overall Purpose of the Position:
The Systems and Network Administrator maintains the company’s network and hardware infrastructure to ensure network availability to all system users. In addition, working with the IT Manager, the position plans, coordinates and implements IT related infrastructure and improvements.
TASK Academy, a division of TASK, was founded in 2017 and specialises in capacity development within clinical research. It hosts national and international accredited GCP (Good Clinical Practice) courses, a requirement for anyone wishing to pursue a career in clinical research that involves the participation of human subjects. An accredited GCLP (Good Clinical Laboratory Practice) course and HIV course was added to the curriculum in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
TASK Academy was awarded a grant by the Simplicity/PanACEA consortium funded by European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) programme to develop training material in clinical trials to help build capacity.
