Recently one of TASK’s laboratory technologists presented a slide show on “the role of the laboratory in clinical research” to an enthusiastic audience of Community Advisory Board (CAB) members. The CAB where eager to learn and ask questions, this to relay information back to the communities in which they serve. This is their critical and primary role in research; to keep the local communities informed about all areas of clinical research.
TASK is fortunate to have excellent relationships with the communities in which it recruits. This is largely due to the efforts of the CAB.
